Regardless of if you’re living with a chronic illness or not, life and health are fleeting. We aren’t promised tomorrow and I firmly believe that we should be making the most of each day as best we can.

Joy is defined in the dictionary as as "a profound, long-lasting emotion of intense happiness, contentment, and well-being."

Although the words joy and happiness are often used interchangeably, they actually have very different characteristic. Happiness is typically an outward response to a positive event.

Joy isn't reliant on external factors. Instead it's is rooted in purpose, meaning, and connection with ourselves, others, and our faith. Which is reflected in one of my favorite Bible verses...

In the Presence of God there is Fullness of Joy! Psalm 16:11

The cool thing about joy is that it can persist and thrive even through life's challenges, hardships and sorrow. Even more cool, we all have the ability to tap into joy!

I created this site as a tool and guide to finding bits of Joy within the spaces of our everyday lives.

Explore the site and enjoy!
