We’re still floating from the energy at our 3rd Annual Stepping Out to Cure Scleroderma walk last Saturday at the Fox Cities Stadium in Appleton, WI.
This year, we watched our community grow in the most beautiful way. We went from 152 walkers last year to 219 amazing people joining us in shining brightly as Beacon's of hope.
So many new connections were made, and it was deeply moving to have 5 incredible members of our Scleroderma medical community there to walk, cheer, and support us. Having them by our side meant the world to us.
More than anything, Saturday was about spreading awareness, embracing our local community, and inspiring hope for a cure. Scleroderma can feel like an isolating journey, but looking out at the sea of teal t-shirts proved one undeniable truth: We are not in this alone!
Thank you to everyone who walked, donated, volunteered, and shared their stories. We are making an incredible impact together, and every step brings us closer to a cure. We couldn’t do this without you!
